The Firefighter Jobs App is Finally Out!!!

Firefighter Jobs App

Hey guys, I’m glad to finally announce that the Firefighter Jobs app is finally out. After months of working on the app I can say it’s finished. If you would like to download it (or just view the app) please click HEREIf you do end up downloading it please understand that I am really appreciative that you’re doing that.

If you are reading this and haven’t read about the process of how the app was created then please CLICK HERE to read my 3 posts about what I did to create the app.

I have talked about the process of making the app but I haven’t talked much about the app and haven’t gone into great detail of what you can do inside of the app. I’m going to take this time and give an overview of the app itself.

When you first open the app you will be greeted by the logo of the app and ask to make a profile so that you will be able to save jobs later.

Once you make your account you will be directed straight to the page with all the jobs. We currently have over 400 jobs on the app and it gets more and more everyday as I have employees putting them in daily. You can scroll down and look at each job or use out filter to zoom in on what you might be looking for.

The jobs are shown with the title of the job, how much you get paid for the job, and the last day you can apply for that job. Some of that information isn’t given to us so it will say unknown. Once you find a job you are interested in you just click on it to get more details on that particular job.

On the Job Details page, you can view all the information that was on the Jobs page and more. Here you can see what the requirements of the jobs are, what certifications you’ll need, and a little about the department you’re trying to apply for. On this page, you can also save the job or email it to a friend on the top right. Lastly, if you click on the “Apply Now” button on the bottom of the page you will be redirected to the corresponding web page to find more information about the job and apply for it. It’s that simple.

You’re also able to do a couple other things like customize your profile, sponsor a job (if you work in the human resources department), read about me personally, and also give feedback about the app.

On the first tab of the app you will be able to see our website (which is this particular website, thanks for visiting btw), see the landing page for the app (you can take a look at the Landing page if you’re interested), also you’re able to email me for any problems of the app, and lastly you’re able to rate the app on iTunes.

If you do download the app I would REALLY appreciate and honest review from you. Reviews help the app grow and I also get to learn what you guys like or dislike about the app.

I know you might be wondering how much it cost and I actually think that it’s the best part of the app, it only costs $5!!! No more paying $70+ dollars a year at those other places that showcase only Firefighter jobs. This is the whole package right in your hand. There is a downside though, and that is that the app is only out for IOS iPhone at this time. We do plan to make it come out for Andriod users very soon if we get enough interest.

So if you are interested in downloading the app then please CLICK HERE to be sent to the download page on iTunes. I want to again reiterate how much this means to me that you have taken the time out of your busy day to read this post and if you download the app then I am that much more grateful. This site has been a blast to manage and the thanks I have got from you guys keeps me doing this. Now that the app is out I hope I can help you guys even more.

If you are not a part of my mailing list please Subscribe to receive updates on the blog and app. Like us on Facebook if you haven’t yet. We also have an active Reddit page for you to join if interested.

Thanks for everything!

Cheers
